It was, however, interesting reading an interpretation of a glimpse into Cleopatra's early life; but, I think that I had what Cleopatra was like in her later years ingrained in my mind, which is not a terrible thing, because I think that Gregory did an adequate job displaying some of Cleopatra's later character traits.
